In the past few weeks, over 20 police officers have been either killed or wounded by gunmen who chose their targets purely because they were police.

San Diego Asian Americans for Equality (SDAAFE) urges the Asian American community to pray for the families of the fallen officers who were murdered or injured while doing their jobs. We must continue to show our support for the men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. The violence against police needs to end now.

“Our community is made up of good people, people who respect the laws, and support those who have been hired to enforce the laws. We care about this community and all the people in this community, and we owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to these courageous police officers who keep this community safe,” said Frank Xu, President of SDAAFE.

Please join us in showing our community’s support for the police by being an example of unity and calmness in the face of recent terrible tragedies.
